Every Creative Woman Needs a Business Vision Board

Blog·Sep 13, 2025

As female entrepreneurs, we wear so many hats. Creator, CEO, CFO, cheerleader, and often, the one who cleans up after everyone else. It’s easy to get lost in the hustle, checking off endless to-do lists and forgetting the big, beautiful dream you're working towards.

What if you could take a mindful moment this season to reconnect with your deepest desires for your business and your life? What if you could tap into your intuition and map out your most ambitious dreams?

Here's just the thing - a business vision board is going to be just the spark you need to reignite, and realign your goals in business and life. It's a powerful tool to channel clarity, motivation, and manifesting all you dream of. Time to let go of your "must-do's" and "priority tasks" for the day and think about the bigger picture. Let's get crafty.

Your Vision Board Supplies

Treat yourself to a mini "creative shopping spree" for these essentials. If you're not sure where to begin, Amazon has these fun little vision board books!

  • Poster board, corkboard (I love pinning up my vision board so I can re-do it every season!), cardboard, or even a large piece of cardstock. Choose a size that feels right for your space and your vision.

  • Sparks of inspiration - I order these, print out my own pictures, or head to the thrift store + library for cheap second hand supplies.

    • Old magazines (try out art, travel, lifestyle)

    • Printed photos (of you, dream spots, objects, or big goals)

    • Fabric swatches, ribbons, or dried flowers for texture

    • Quotes, affirmations, or powerful words printed out or handwritten

  • A glue stick, tape, or push pins (if using a corkboard).

  • Scissors, markers, paint pens, glitter tape, stickers, go crazy!

  • Mood boosters - I put on a dreamy 90's rom-com, make a hot cup of something, put myself in comfy clothes and a fuzzy blanket and settle in.

Manifesting Prompts: What Do You Truly Desire?

Before you start cutting, take a few minutes to sit with these questions. What images, words, and feelings bubble up?

For Business :

  1. What does a wildly successful and joyful day in your business feel like?

  2. What kind of clients or customers do you want to attract more of?

  3. What's the main feeling you want to bring to your work this season?

  4. If you could delegate or let go of one thing in your business and never do it again, what would it be?

  5. What's the big, bold impact you want to make in your industry or community?

Your Personal Vision (Your business thrives when YOU thrive):

  1. What does your ideal work-life balance truly look like and feel like? What activities are you making space for outside of work?

  2. What does your routine look like when you're truly well, energized, and nourished?
  3. What habits (both big and small) are you making space for in your daily life?

  4. What new skills, hobbies, or passions do you want to explore? How can you feed your creative soul outside of client work?

  5. What does your ideal workspace look, feel, smell, and sound like? How can you infuse more of that into your current reality?

Bring Your Vision to Life

  1. Clear your space, put on some music, and pour that warm drink. This is your time.

  2. Go through your magazines and printouts. Don't overthink it! Cut out any images, words, or colors that grab your attention, spark joy, or resonate with your prompts. Create a pile of potential elements.

  3. Start arranging your collected pieces on your board. Play with different layouts. There's no right or wrong way. Some prefer a neatly organized board, others a playful, messy collage.

  4. Once you're happy with the arrangement, start gluing or pinning everything down. As you place each piece, take a moment to connect with the feeling it represents.

  5. Use your markers or pens to add personal affirmations, specific goals, or even just feelings you want to cultivate.

Once your vision board is complete, place it somewhere you’ll see it every single day, by your desk, your bedroom wall, or even as your phone background. Let it be a constant, gentle reminder of what you're creating.
