About the Human VA Team
If you are feeling overwhelmed, and at a standstill with your business chances are it's time to hire some help. Our team is unique in that you are hiring ONE virtual assistant, but you are getting the knowledge and skills of an entire TEAM.
Perks of working with a team:
- If the primary VA you're working with for some reason cannot work with you anymore, we will honor your contract and transfer you to another team member.
- If your primary VA is unfamiliar with a platform you use, they can ask someone who might have more experience in that platform on the team.
- If there is a specialty we know another team member might be better at, we share the workload to ensure that the most suitable people are working on your projects.

I am Lisa and I am the founder of HumanVA. After many years of administrative / customer service, I am very excited to work from home. I chose this path because I want to help other small business owners grow their business. I also love being location independent and look forward to traveling to new destinations with my hubby. I love reading fiction, playing video games, watching movies, and enjoying the outdoors! (especially the beach and kayaking)
Emily Breitbach, Co-Owner | Virtual Assistant
Hey there! My name is Emily and co-owner of HumanVA. I fell in love with VA work after feeling stuck for several years in social services and corporate jobs. I found that I needed to be supported in my career by always growing and learning new skills, and being a virtual assistant has provided me with just that while building incredible relationships with clients! Through projects for clients, I have been able to dive into social media management, launching products and courses, hosting online events, and working in the “back end” of websites, platforms, and apps. When I am not working, I am playing in the kitchen, working on home renovation projects, reading, and exploring new places and things!
Colleen Keenan, Virtual Assistant
My name is Colleen and I have worked in customer service all of my adult years. While raising a family I continued to work through various jobs which accommodated our home life. We finally settled in Central New York and found a peaceful small town to finish growing our children. I then became employed at USPS and worked very happily there for 26 years. I was promoted to the lead clerk position which kept me busy and happy till my retirement. At home I have been involved in my church and my community for many years. I enjoy being with my husband, four children, and eight grandchildren (so far!) and traveling with our new fifth-wheel camper. I love keeping my head in the technology and customer interaction that I get while working as a remote Virtual Assistant.
